Get Involved

Arts Northern Rivers welcomes First Nations artists, creatives, cultural practitioners, and community members with a connection to the Bundjalung region to take part in the 2026 Art on Bundjalung Market in Grafton, on Saturday 21 November.

We’re looking for people across a wide range of creative, cultural, and culinary practices to help make this year’s event vibrant, diverse, and community‑centred.

Whether you’re an artist, performer, maker, storyteller, or food & drink vendor, we invite you to get involved.

Stallholders

We are seeking emerging and established First Nations artists and collectives working across traditional and contemporary forms, including:

  • Weaving

  • Ceramics

  • Carving

  • Photography

  • Painting

  • Textiles

  • Mixed media and more

Stallholders will have the opportunity to showcase and sell their artworks and products while celebrating Bundjalung creative excellence.

Please note: Stallholder participation involves a fee that supports the delivery of the event.

Cultural Program & Workshops

We’re inviting First Nations performers, cultural knowledge‑holders, and creative practitioners to contribute to the Cultural Program. We welcome individuals and groups working in:

  • Dance

  • Weaving

  • Music

  • Fashion

  • Spoken word

  • Cultural demonstrations

  • Other creative and cultural practices

This is a paid opportunity to share your skills, knowledge, and cultural practice with the community as part of a meaningful and engaging program.

Food & Drink Vendors

We are also seeking First Nations food and drink vendors to bring flavour, culture, and community to the market. This includes:

  • Bush foods

  • Traditional and contemporary cuisine

  • Drinks and refreshments

  • Packaged foods, preserves, and more

This is a great opportunity to showcase your culinary offering at a well‑attended community event.

Please note: Vendor participation involves a fee that supports the delivery of the event.

Key Information

Applications are open to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists and performers who have a connection to Bundjalung country.

Stallholder and food/drinks vendor participation involves a fee that supports the delivery of the Art on Bundjalung event.

Once you’ve submitted your application, Arts Northern Rivers will contact you regarding the outcome no later than Monday 17 August 2026.
